WebNov 16, 2024 · The Wraith is a good stopgap for testing but I wouldn't advise even stock settings on a 3700x- I'd suggest locking boost at 4ghz or 4.2 tops on 2 cores/4 threads for gaming, and setting VCORE to 1.25v or so to get acceptable temperatures. A R5 3600X may be a bit better.
